KLC THE STUDIO TRIAL AGREEMENT
Thank you for enrolling in the Content Retainer Trial (“Trial”).
By clicking “Buy Now,” “Complete Order,” or any other phrase on the purchase button, entering your payment information, or otherwise rendering payment for the Trial, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions with Kierra Conover, in her capacity as owner of KLC THE STUDIO LLC (“Manager” or “Company”):
1. Trial Scope of Work
Manager agrees to provide the Client with a one-time delivery of five (5) custom content assets to demonstrate voice matching, content quality, and strategic alignment. These assets may include emails, social media content (such as written carousel content, static posts, or captions), podcast topic ideas, or LinkedIn content, based on the Client’s intake form and platform preferences.
Please note: Long-form content such as case studies, sales pages and blog posts are not included in the trial and are only available through the full Content Retainer or a separate Content Sprint.
One round of revisions is included, provided that the Client submits feedback within five (5) calendar days of delivery. If feedback is not received within that window, the content will be considered final and no revisions will be made.
2. Trial Fee & Payment
Client agrees to pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $200, due prior to the start of work. This fee covers strategy review, onboarding, and the creation of five (5) content assets.
3. Decision Window & Credit Policy
After receiving the trial content, the Client will have five (5) calendar days from the date of content delivery to confirm whether they wish to continue services through a full Content Retainer agreement.
If the Client confirms continuation within 5 days, the $200 trial payment will be credited toward their first retainer invoice (monthly or quarterly).
If no decision is made within five (5) days of delivery, the trial will be considered complete and the $200 will not be applied to any future services.
Any continuation of work beyond the trial requires a new agreement and retainer commitment. Services will not continue without a signed contract and full payment of the retainer amount.
4. Content Usage & Ownership
The five (5) content assets provided during the trial are fully owned by the Client upon delivery. The Client is permitted to use, publish, or repurpose the content in any way they choose, regardless of whether they move forward with a full retainer.
5. Confidentiality
Manager agrees to treat any materials provided by the Client for the purpose of this trial as confidential and will not disclose them to any third party. Likewise, the Client agrees not to disclose or distribute any proprietary processes or internal strategy materials shared by the Manager.
6. No Guarantee
Client understands that this trial is a sample of services and does not guarantee specific results, conversions, or business outcomes. Manager provides services based on the information provided by Client and cannot be held responsible for performance if content is used outside of the agreed context or without further strategic partnership.
7. Feedback Requirement
This Trial is designed as a collaborative experience to help both Parties assess fit. Client’s feedback plays an important role in helping Manager evaluate how well the content aligns with Client’s voice, offer, and brand tone. While Manager aims to match style and strategy in the first round, tone and language are subjective—and thoughtful feedback helps narrow in more accurately over time.
Client agrees to provide clear, constructive feedback on the five (5) content assets delivered. While revisions are not included in the Trial, any feedback shared will be documented and incorporated into Client’s internal content profile if they choose to move forward with a full Content Retainer.
Manager will provide a Feedback Manual with tips and examples to help guide this process. Feedback should be specific and actionable. General or vague responses such as “this sucks,” “this sounds like AI,” or “I would never say this” are not considered helpful for refinement.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms outlined in this Trial Agreement.
